ImageChunker supports a wide variety of image formats for both input and output.

Cons:

  • Limited compatibility (mainly Apple)
  • Slower encoding
  • Some apps can’t open

When to use:

  • Apple-only workflows
  • Photos on iPhone/iPad
  • When storage is limited
  • Modern applications

Create a PDF containing all chunks:

Options:

  • Grid layout: Chunks arranged in grid
  • Stacked layout: One chunk per page
  • With margins: Space around each chunk
  • Include metadata: Chunk numbers, dimensions

For extremely large images:

  1. Enable streaming mode in Settings
  2. Use sequential batch processing
  3. Consider reducing input resolution first
  1. Check file extension is correct
  2. Try renaming with proper extension
  3. Open in Preview to verify format
  4. Re-export from original software
  1. Check color profile in original
  2. Try “Convert to sRGB” option
  3. View in color-managed application
  4. Export with embedded profile
  1. Ensure output format supports alpha
  2. Use PNG or HEIC, not JPEG
  3. Check “Preserve transparency” is enabled
  1. Use JPEG or HEIC instead of PNG
  2. Reduce quality setting
  3. Scale down output dimensions
  4. Remove metadata
